Is anyone out there sick?

Ughhh, it is that time again, and the Allin family is SUPER sick. I must admit that it has been over two years since I have been this sick, but yuck! When I worked in the school system my children and I were always catching a little something or other, with the occassional big sickness a couple times a year. But, we have been basically flu free for 2 years! (Dad brought this one home!)

Now what is it about moms that always put their kids first? Now that I am half way better, I am laughing at myself for this past week. Two late nights on the computer for work, and three--yes three birthdays this weekend! I had to let my son have his "super secret sleepover birthday party." (which contributed to another late night!) Then his best friend had a birthday at laser tag, and finally it was my best friends birthday and we held a birthday bash here at the house. No wonder I crashed yesterday and today!

When all this craziness happens it makes me reflect. Reflect on what I can do to make my life healthier, the kids life healthlier, and lastly, what my poor mother went through all those years of raising three kids. No wonder she was so tired!
