Looking for summer camps and things to do as a family? Come to the Summer Camp & Kids Expo this Saturday!

The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County has partnered with Cross Creek Mall for the third year to help parents learn about summer camps and other fun things for families to do together in our area. Over 50 fun and educational camps and businesses from throughout NC will be joining us on Saturday, March 21 at Cross Creek Mall from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Evening with the Stars Raises $30,000 for Programs for Cumberland County Children

The stars shined on Cumberland County’s young children on Sunday, February 22. The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County, Inc. was the beneficiary of the $30,000 raised through sponsorships, donations, and ticket sales for the annual Evening with the Stars Oscar Party. The money will be used to provide free activities for children at Partnership’s KidStuff at the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival presented by Embarq and for programs that support military families.

It's really isn't ever too early to start

Have you seen the recent ads from CFNC, the College Foundation of North Carolina? The ones with the little girl and her backpack that say something about it never being too early to start a college savings plan for your children. When I see those ads I think about how true it is that it is never too early, but I see it a bit differently than CFNC does.
