• The Autism Society of Cumberland County’s High Functioning Autism Support Group, the second Monday excluding December, at 5:45 p.m. at the Dorothy Spainhour School on Hull Road. • Grandparents and Relatives Raising Children of Harnett County meet the third Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 119 at the Division of Aging on Cornelius Harnett Blvd. in Lillington. For more information, call 893-7578.
• The Autism Society of Cumberland County’s Autism Breakfast Club Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at Chick-fil-A on Skibo Road. Jan. 30

There will be a children’s make-and-take hands-on activity at the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. It will be in conjunction with the exhibit Art of the Masters: A Survey of African American Images, 1980-2000. 323-1776.

Feb. 11

From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, Cape Fear Studios will have art classes for childrens ages 8 to 15. There will be painting, drawing, and making collages. The cost is $150. To register call 433-2986 or print a registration form from www.capefearstudios.com.

Feb. 13

• The Gutters to Strikes Bowling Academy includes four 30-minute sessions, and time slots run from 4 to 8 p.m. The cost is $48 per academy. Youth ages 5 and older practice fundamentals and techniques. Lessons are at Airborne Lanes on Fort Bragg. 396-5437.
