- The Healing Arts Support Group, Saturdays at 11 a.m.

group that uses yoga and journal writing to teach relaxation

- The Autism Society of Cumberland County’s High Functioning
Autism Support Group, the second Monday excluding December, at
5:45 p.m. at the Dorothy Spainhour School on Hull Road. This group
is for parents of individuals with High Functioning Autism or

- The Autism Society of Cumberland County’s Autism Lunch Club
Support Group meets the second Tuesday of the month at 11:30

through adulthood, with autism.
- Grandparents and Relatives Raising Children of Harnett
County meet the third Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. in
Conference Room 119 at the Division of Aging on Cornelius Harnett

- The Autism Society of Cumberland County’s Autism Breakfast
Club Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month at
9:30 a.m. at Chick-fil-A on Skibo Road. This group is for parents

There will be a children’s make-and-take hands-on activity at
the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. It will be in
conjunction with the exhibit Art of the Masters: A Survey of

Feb. 11
From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, Cape Fear Studios will have art
classes for childrens ages 8 to 15. There will be painting,
drawing, and making collages. The cost is $150. To register call

Feb. 13

- The Gutters to Strikes Bowling Academy includes four 30-minute
sessions, and time slots run from 4 to 8 p.m. The cost is $48 per
academy. Youth ages 5 and older practice fundamentals and

shoot at Cleland Ice Rink for $5 and stick time is available on
