I havent been on here in so long. But I wanted to spread the word that I am starting my own photography business. Just ordered all my equipment ! I am so excited. I just moved hear and im trying to find a good pedicatrician for my son. I want someone who isnt going to make me feel stupid, im a young mom and ive been to some pretty mean doctors. I know im young and dont know everything but im not stupid! ugh

At http://www.mothering.com/articles/growing_child/vaccines/vaccines.html is a substantial archive of articles on the subject of vaccines. They all provide references, so they're a good starting pint to do further research yourself.

Just took my youngest kiddo for his 4-month checkup yesterday. Oh, I hate watching him get those immunization shots! A friend recently asked if I thought the shots were safe. Well, here's what the CDC says about that:

What do you think? Are the vaccines safe?

And on a lighter note, I thought is was so sweet that my 4-year-old decided to sit outside the room on a stool while his brother got the shots. He did the same thing at the 2-month visit. I wish I didn't have to watch, either!
