Hi everyone,
I am looking to put my daughter in preschool (3yr) this coming school year. I was looking for any suggestions anyone might have on a good preschool. Thanks!

Hi, I have actually written a couple of articles on this subject. I will send you the links. I used to be a preschool director of a large center in Charlotte, NC. There is a state website you can visit that will give star ratings, sanitation scores, etc. of all licensed preschools and daycares in NC. Check out these two articles for further information. Most common questions are answered here about the NC star rating system of daycare centers and preschools. I hope they will be of good use.

I personally like the church-based preschools in the downtown area. We go to Haymount UMC, but I've also heard good things about Holy Trinity and First Presbyterian (FirstSchool). I live on the north side of town and St. Andrews also comes highly recommended, but only offered a 2-day program for 2-year-olds. I like our 3-day program! :) Open registration for Haymount is Feb 16th or 17th.
