The Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville will host the American Girl Fashion Show on Saturday, March 20, and Sunday, March 21, 2010, at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville. We still need local girl models who wear a size 10 to present the fashions at the show. Email Rodjuladkins@yahoo.com for information

This fun, engaging program showcases historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls. The event includes refreshments, party favors, a raffle and door prizes. Tickets are $30 per person and are available now on the Child Advocacy Center website, www.childadvocacycenter.com or by calling (910) 486-9700. Birthday party packages, souvenirs, and raffle tickets are also on sale now.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Child Advocacy Center’s child abuse prevention and outreach programs.The Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, child-friendly place where community agencies come together to interview and investigate cases of child abuse and to provide support for abused children. The Child Advocacy Center also provides education in the community on preventing, detecting and reporting child abuse to parents, businesses, organizations and professionals.

Our daughter participated as a model last year and will be in it again this year. She LOVED the experience and said she felt good doing something to help children who have experienced hurt and pain.
