Shops for moms in Downtown Fayetteville

Lots of moms -- even total strangers! -- ask me about the nursing cover I use to feed my infant son in public. (It's awesome!) A friend bought it for me at Baby Wear Limited in Downtown Fayetteville. I was really self-conscious breastfeeding my first baby around other people. I'm a million times more confident the second time around -- thanks mainly to this specially designed coverup by Bebe Au Lait. I highly recommend it!

And some breaking news ... I'm super excited to learn about a new business coming soon to Downtown Fayetteville called Baby & Me Inc. In addition to selling baby items, the business owners (three moms, from what I'm told) plan to offer 3D and 4D ultrasound. How cool is that?!

So, as a big fan of downtown -- and its stroller-friendly sidewalks! -- I just wanted to give a shout-out to these two places.

Baby & Me is supposed to open on December 1. Also, there's a place in Dunn now that does it (a much shorter drive than Prenatal Peek in Durham - where I went - or even the places in Wilmington). You can reach Sono Solutions @ 910-892-4941 or on their website @ http://www.sonosolutions3dfetalimaging.com/. There's also a place in Sanford (can't remember the name) and Triangle Imaging in Cary (www.triangle4dbaby.com). But - how exciting will it be to be able to have it done right here in Fayetteville! (:
